Edith Ruth Gebhardt

Edith Ruth Gebhardt, age 91, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 16, 2008. She was born on November 14, 1916 in Middletown, OH to the late Earl Sanderson and Elizabeth Brewer. Edith was preceded in death by her husband Louis J. Gebhardt; daughter-in-law Pat Gebhardt; great-grandson Adam Gebhardt; brother Ben Brewer Jr.; sister Mary Rickman; sister-in-law Loretta Brewer; and step-father Ben Brewer Sr. She is survived by her children Don Gebhardt, JoAnne Sulzer, and Mary Jane Parks; 11 grandchildren including special grandson Vince Gebhardt; 20 great-grandchildren; and brother William League. The family would like to thank Walnut Creek Nursing Center, the nurses, and aide Janet Alexander. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 from 10-11AM at St. Henry Parish (6666 Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
