MASTERS, Edith, 91, entered Heavens gates Wed., Feb. 2, 2005. Survived by daughter Lois Sewak of Centerville; son Chuck Masters & wife Linda of Louisville, KY; grandchildren Carrie Monley (Bob), Jon Sewak, Deanna Osborn (Brian), Leeann Hawkey (Brian) and Lisa Poling (Brian); great-grandchildren Peyton and Paige Ann Monley, Noel and Tyler Osborn, Logan and Morgan Hawkey and Megan, Katie and Brodie Poling; 2 sisters Gwendola Garrett (Cortell) and Nadean Smith (Luke); special friends Nancy Shade and Pauline Sewak. Preceded in death by husband Lester, sons Bobby and Roy, grandson Jeffrey, parents T.T. & Maudie Huffines, sister Gertrude Smith and by brothers Hobart, Howard, Bill and Fred Huffines. Edith enjoyed a rewarding 30 year career in the meat department at Imperial Foodtown/Al & Joes Foodtown, retiring at age 79. Special thanks to the staff at Alterra Sterling House Centerville for the care and love given to her during the last five years. To the caregivers of Hospice, our family will be forever grateful. Funeral services 1:30 P.M., Fri., Feb. 4, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Rev. Bobbie Predmore officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday (TODAY) from 5 - 8 P.M. and on Friday for 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Ediths memory.
