KIRKER, Edith Irene
Age 88, on October 25, 2014 our Lord called his special angel, Edith to Heaven. She was born August 23, 1926 in Wilmington, OH to the late, Raphiel E. and Rosetta (Hurley) Cook. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Samuel Everett Kirker; 3 brothers, Elbert J., Richard E., and Wesley Cook. Edith is survived by two daughters who loved her with all their hearts, Karen Sue (Raymond "Bill") Jaques and Connie Jean (Michael) Cooper; 4 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 8 step great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. We thank God for the life and love she shared with us and will miss her deeply. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd.
