Edith K. Kelley

KELLEY, Edith K. age 91, from Gratis, KY who lived in Dayton for 64 years, passed away Friday, August 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Gene Autry Capps, and Louis Capps; and husband Rudy Kelley in 1998. She and her husband were married 57 years. Edith is survived by 4 granddaughters, Mary Mobley, Lita Prewitt, Rachel Capps, and Alice Capps; 5 great-grandsons, Rudy Kelley, Rick Howard, Steve Combs, Thomas Capps, and Matt Jones; 4 great-granddaughters, Louise Capps, Edith Capps, Lynn Kelley, and Raquel Rockwell; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Misses Kelley also foster cared for 12 kids with no assistance; just her and her husband. She will be loved and missed forever for she has touched and guided so many lives. Love you Mom. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. Services will be 11 am Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the funeral home.
