Edith Johnson

Edith H. Johnson, 78, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday Feb, 10, 2004. She was born Sept 1, 1925 in Cookville Tenn, the daughter of Jack and Rosa (Burris) Harris. She retired after working for GM and was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 224. Survivors include her daughter Barbara Potter; sisters Dorothy Patton (Walt Woodard) Lillian (Don) Bontrager; brother James (Clara) Harris; grandchildren Wallace (Cathy) Potter; William Potter; great grandchildren Eric, Tommy, Rusty, Misty and Tiffany; numerous nieces and nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Carl Harris, one sister Helen Holder and one grandson Cecil Potter. Friends may call Friday 5-8 pm at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home 3940 Kettering Blvd, where Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Sat. with Pastor Wayne Burke officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
