JACKSON, (May) Edith, 80, of Dayton passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents Homer and Myra May; and brothers J.C. May and Grover May. Edith is survived by her husband of 59 years, Paul Jackson; daughters Velma (Rick) Sorah, Marcella (David) Avant, and Sharon (Tim) Davis; grandchildren Paul Edward and Matthew Thomas Sorah, Courtney May and Tyler Jackson Davis; great grandchildren Emily and Robert Sorah; brother Bill May; sisters Jean Adams, Pauline Lovely, and Nancy Conley; sisters-in-law Ruth and Joyce May; numerous other family and friends. She was a member of First Baptist Church St. James City, FL. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Saturday 27, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Brother Hudson officiating.
