Age 86, of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at her home.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Walter H. North; and by one infant daughter, Flossie Irene North.
Edith is survived by one daughter, Sally & her husband, Houbert Raines; three grandchildren, Valerie & her husband, Bobby Jones, Houbert Raines Jr. & Savannah Raines; one great grandson, Tayven; a multitude of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Edith will be remembered by her family as being a loving mother & caregiver. She enjoyed watching the Food Network, never met a stranger and always had a smile to share.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, July 5, at Air Street Church of God, 235 Air Street, Dayton.
Contributions may be made in memory of Edith to The Hospice of Dayton.
