Edith Hamlin, age 79, passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2013.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Hamlin. She is survived by their daughter, Lusta (Gary) Anderson, grandchildren, Garra (Nathan) Myers, Amanda Anderson, great-grandchildren, Lucas Myers & Alexander Myers, her sister, Nora Hensley, her brother Jack (Charlene) Ward & numerous nieces & nephews.
She was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where she played the piano for years. She was a resident of Crestview Manor for 12 years, where she considered the employees to be her extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12th, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432, from 10 AM to 11 AM with a Celebration of Life service at 11 AM.
Burial will follow at Centerville Cemetery.
