Edith Fannin Dane

Edith Fannin Dane, age 84 of Medway, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021. She was born September 20, 1936 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Alden and Emma Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Fannin; second husband, James Dane; children, Cathy Jean Fannin, Cheryl Fannin and Timothy Fannin; grandson, Christopher Hawkins Fannin; siblings, Phyllis Lewis and Fred Jenkins; and brother-in-law, Rev. Donald Stacy.

Edith will be missed by her loving sons, Wayne Fannin (Helen) and Nathan Fannin; step-children, Ollie Dane, Pam Dane, Louise Dane, Barbara Dane and Brenda Dane; grandchildren, Kenneth Fannin, Shawn Fannin, April Wofford, and Phillip Fannin; many great grandchildren; siblings, Elizabeth Stacy, Earl (Marie) Jenkins, Larry (Kathy) Jenkins, Barbara Gibson, Harley (Roberta) Jenkins, Harlan (Toni) Jenkins and William "Billy" Jenkins".

Edith was a member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Tabernacle. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where the funeral service will be held at 10:30am Thursday. Burial, Byron Cemetery.
