Edie M. Barker, 87, of Huber Heights, passed away July 3, 2015.
She was born June 25, 1928 in Sparta, Tennessee, the daughter of Johnnie and Flora (Bailey) Brown.
Edith is survived by her daughters, Jackie (Wendell) Maiden, Jamie Porter (Anthony); granddaughter, Jessica (Aaron) Kielbaso; 8 great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jayden, Ethan, Mayson, Billie, Kiera, Raelyn, Aaryia; sister, Judy (Don) Yates of St. Clair Shores, MI; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Lee Wilmoth; grandsons, Jerami Lee Williams and Dean Maiden.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 12:30PM until 1:30PM service time at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio.
Entombment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
