Ed was full of life, and loved to laugh and make others laugh. He loved his wife, enjoyed spending time with his 2 boys. In his early days, Ed was active in the Philippine American Community and was President of the Phil-Am Society of Greater Dayton in 1975. In his spare time he enjoyed playing his piano and listening to his favorite music station on TV every evening. As a young man he enjoyed playing basketball and hanging out with his friends in the Philippines. He became a dentist, but decided to go into pharmaceutical sales, and that's when he met the love of his life, Gloria. After the birth of their children the family embarked on their grand journey to America in 1969 where both Ed and Gloria with only $500 in their pocket and 2 very small children began a productive and happy life in the land of opportunity. They enjoyed this journey with many friends and family members all along the way. It's been a great-great journey and it continues with a lifetime of memories.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, August 30, 2021 from 5-8 pm at the Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at 10:00 am at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 149 Franklin St, Dayton, OH 45402.
Ed will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. Although he has begun a new journey to eternal life; he will be looking forward to one day being reunited with his beloved wife, Gloria for their next and final journey together.
