Age 87, of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Grandview Hospital. Ed was born October 6, 1919 in Springfield, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of the past 53 years, Dorothy Yeazell; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda & Melvin Moyer of New Carlisle; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin & Lynn Yeazell of Naperville, Illinois; five grandchildren, Dwayne, Karen (& husband, Danny), Kevin, Zachary and Justin; and by one great grandchild, Kary. Ed was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Russell and George.
He retired from Teamsters Local 957 in 1979 after 25 years of driving for C. W. Transport. He had a great love for his animals and enjoyed being outdoors in the country.
The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Saturday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that contributions be made in memory of Ed to St. Jude's Hospital.
