Edgar Britton

Edgar Britton, Age 93, of Centerville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Ed was preceded in death by his Mother, Cora Maupin, Grandmother, Emily Britton and his grandson, Ben Duff. He is lovingly remembered by his best friend and wife of 72-years, Frances Britton; his daughters, Karen (Britton) Shannon (Steve Shannon) and Kathy Britton; and his grandchildren, Adam Duff, Zach Shannon (Ceyrah Feeney), and Maddi Shannon. Ed was a successful small-business owner who never let work get in the way of enjoying time with his family and friends. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, tinkering away in the garage, and spending time with family and friends. He was an amazing father, grandfather, and friend who left a lasting impact on everyone he came in contact with. Ed will forever be missed and the memories of him will forever live on. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of Dayton. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
