Edgar A. Rose, Jr.

ROSE, Edgar A., Jr., age 80, of Beavercreek, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010. He was born January 6, 1930 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. Edgar was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a past member and served as a Deacon of North Dayton Baptist Church for many years and was a present member of First Baptist Church of Fairborn. Edgar worked for Singer Business Machines and TRW. He is survived by his children, Pam (Rick) Davis and David Rose; grandchildren, Jennifer Davis and Chris Davis; sister, Joan Greer; brother, Mike Rose. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Rose; parents, Edgar and Kitty Rose; sisters, Peggy Johnson and Mary Leggett; brothers, Gerald and Gary Rose. Rev. Ron Plemons officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
