Eddie Lee Stacy, age 74 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born December 12, 1948 in Cannal City, Kentucky the son of Herman and Rosa Stacy.
Eddie was often referred as the "Ol' Man". He one of the best drummers around. He worked for Paul's Tree Service for many a day. He was a best friend to many and always had good advice to give. He was a great dad "Ol' Man", papaw and friend will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Stacy and sister; Marita Marie Stacy.
Eddie is survived by his children, Lisa R. Basler and Eddie Herman Lee Stacy, Jr. (Tobi); grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, Jaydyn and Ransom; great grandson, Jameson; nephew and nieces, Paul (Jerri "Judy") Stacy, JoAnn Stacy, Rita (Bill) Wick and Gina Stacy; great nieces and nephews, Craig, Paulette, Scott, Kevin, Amy, Amber, Allen, Ashley and Austin and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with a service at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Eddie will be laid to rest at Byron Cemetery following the service.
