Eddie A. Shaw Sr.

Eddie Shaw, 73, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Miamisburg, OH. Eddie was born on July 1, 1943 in Dayton, OH to the late Emerson L. Shaw and Virginia G. Shaw.
In addition to his parents, Eddie is preceded in death by his son, Eddie Shaw Jr.
He is survived by his children, Jeanette Shaw, Matthew Shaw, and Stella (Kathryn) Shaw; grandchildren, Kyle (Lindsey) Shaw and Marissa Shaw; great granddaughter, Haylee Shaw; ex-wife, Joanne Shaw; brothers, Johnny and Ricky Shaw, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Eddie had a real love for cars, shooting guns, and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be most remembered for his sense of humor and story telling.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439, where a funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Whole Truth Ministries, 709 Kercher St., Miamisburg, OH 45342, in Eddie's honor.
