Eddie "Fae" Newsome

Eddie "Fae" Newsome, age 91, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born February 22, 1932 in Wheelwright, Kentucky to the late Harlan Wells and Gracie (Mullins) Wells.
In addition to her parents, Fae was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Newsome, her sister Nola Mae Slone, her brother "Jr" Wells, and one niece and several nephews.
She is survived by her daughter Regina; granddaughter Ashley and her great-grandson Austin, along with a few nieces and nephews.
Fae enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening and hiking. She liked to stay busy and enjoyed crafting with silk flowers. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her great-grandson, Austin. Traveling "down home" to Southeastern Kentucky was one of her favorite road trips.
Fae was a Great Lady. She will always be remembered for being a loving, caring and nurturing Mom and Mamaw, as well as being a "Spitfire". Fae was loved so much and she will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
