Eddie Murlene Farmer, age 66, of Miamisburg, passed away at home Friday, January 7, 2011, after a long illness.
Eddie was born in Dayton, September 14, 1944, to the late George & Donella True.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Staitch. Eddie is survived by her daughters, Donna Rae (Roland) Sheward and Teresa (Gary) Day; grandchildren, Angel Penrod and Heather Green; great-grandchildren, Matt, Karissa and Madison Penrod; sisters, Sharon (Chester) Myers and Tina Jimenez; brother, Rusty "Edward" (Nancy) True; special friends Reba McCarroll and Jan Wilson; beloved pets, Shadow and Taz; and many other relatives and friends.
Eddie was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, and sister. She was the heart and soul of her family, and will be deeply missed by all.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 10, 2011 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will be held Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evercare Hospice.
