Eddie Gene Gore, age 68, went to be with the lord on April 16, 2024. He was born on December 29, 1955 in Dayton, OH.
Ed was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed attending church, gardening and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bulah and Paul Race and his brother, Mark Gore.
He is survived by his siblings, Rebecca Roberts, Doug (Mika) Race, Carla (Keith) Laux and Paula (Derick) Simmons; many nieces and nephews and his loving companion, Brenda Hurt.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 22, 2024 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Services will begin at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
Ed will be laid to rest at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's in Ed's memory.
