Eddie E. Dykes

Dykes, Eddie E., age 72, of Huber Heights, passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1935 in Helechawa, KY, the son of the late, Edison & Lana (Taulbee) Dykes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cora B. Dykes; brothers, Waldo, Dwight, & Everett Dykes. Survivors include his daughter, Marcella (James) Baker, step-daughter, Patricia (Nelson) Walker; grandson, Tyler Baker; brothers, Deweese (Dearl) Dykes & Denzil (Phyllis) Dykes, and sisters, Emma Jean (Jerry) Beasley & Dora Lane (Don) May. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, October 12, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 PM until the time of services.
