Edward A. Chism, "Eddie," age 21, of West Carrollton and Germantown, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was born June 17, 1995 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Ed Chism and Lisa Daugherty.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sue Groves.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Lisa Daugherty and husband Joe; father, Ed Chism and wife Kelly; maternal grandparents, Debbie and Joe Packer; paternal grandfather, Mack Chism and wife Nita; sister, Shelby Chism; niece, Riley Chism; aunts, Dee Roberts, Krys Edmondson, Yvonne Packer; uncle, John Packer; two best friends, Nick Vamos, Terrick Gehron; as well as numerous step-siblings, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439). Visitation will be from 5 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Stratford Heights, attn: Celebrating Restoration, 4419 Nelson Rd., Middletown, OH 45042 for the treatment, education and ongoing fight against addiction.
