Ed M. Brown, age 78, born in Marbury, AL and of Trotwood, OH passed away on Wednesday January 9, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Brown; mother, Elizabeth Brown; father, Joe W. Brown; and sister, Rosetta Reed.
Survivors include siblings, Willie J. Brown of Dayton, OH; Willie Mae (Leo) Looney of Clanton, AL; Mitchell L. (Ada Mae) Brown of Marbury, AL; Clara B. Russell of Pensacola, FL; Annie Bell Brown of Bronx, NY; Joe Brown of Montgomery, AL; Lawrence Brown of Dayton, OH; Helen E. Spenigner of Marbury, AL; Elizabeth (Lester) Jackson of Sunbury, OH; Charles (Earlene) Brown of Marbury, AL; and Bobby (Jessie) Brown of Montgomery, AL; grandsons, Bobby Brown and Fredrick Preston of NY;1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter, 3 great grandsons, and special cousin, Theodore "Teddy" Williams of Dayton, OH.
Ed retired from General Motors after 32 years of service.
Visitation is Thursday January 17, 2013 from 10am to 11am with funeral service starting at 11am at the Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel), Kettering, OH.
Reverend Timothy D. Newkirk is officiating.
Another service will take place at the Davis Funeral Home in Prattville, AL.
Burial will be in Old Kingston Cemetery in Prattville, AL.
