Earleen Willoughby, 92, of Dayton, passed away peacefully and joined the Lord on June 14, 2019 at Elmcroft of Washington Township.
She was born on April 5, 1927 to Earl and Lelah (Rittner) Shurts in Dayton, OH.
Earleen worked as a secretary for Mega City Warehousing for 32 years.
She was a devout Christian and cherished her time spent with family. Earleen was a very generous and giving person.
She is survived by her loving children, Diana (Ross) McKay, Larry Bowman, Gregory Bowman, and Jeffrey (Vicki) Bowman; step-children, Patrick (Rebecca) Willoughby, Kathleen Willoughby, Daniel (Kimberlee) Willoughby, and David (Tina) Willoughby; grandchildren, Lisa Sackett, Richard (Kim) Shank, Beth (Tim) Suttles, Joel (Carla) Shank, Christopher Shank, and Jeremy Shank; 14 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Isbel; and many other beloved family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Bowman; second husband, Patrick Willoughby; and brothers, Donald Shurts and Bob Shurts.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. 45432).
Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 pm.
Interment at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
