Earl A. Richards, Jr.

Earl Anthony Richards Jr. was born on February 7, 1976, Bronx, New York. He was a loving Son, Brother, Father and Cherished Friend. 

Earl was known for his smile and gentle demeanor. To his Mother, he was her “Teddy Bear”. Earl finds solace and joy in the simple moments spent with his Family and Friends. During football season, all bets were off! Earl loved sports, his favorite teams were the Yankees, the Giants and Michigan Wolverines. The only person that got him away from ESPN was his mom asking him to come over for dinner.

Earl had many jobs, the job he loved the most was Nissin Precision North America, where he worked for 15 years as a Press Operator and was later promoted to night Shift Supervisor. Earl wanted a change and decided to move to Clopay where he worked as a Commercial Track Specialist for over two years.

God called Earl home on 10 January 2025. He preceded in death by his brother Ricardo Greaves II, his Maternal Grandparents Arthur and Alma La Martz, his Paternal grandfather Owen Richards.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving children Devin, Jayden, Akaylin, and Kenneth. His parents Linda and Ricardo Greaves, brothers Albert and Levon Greaves, Biological Father Earl A. Richards Sr, his Grandmother Masie Richards, his Great Auntie Barbara Johnson and Martha Bayan, his Auntie Sandra La Martz and Margie La Martz, Fiancé’ Barbara Adcock, his special brothers, James Stevenson Jr., Nicholas McMillan and Michael Carter along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 am on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Kingdom Purpose Church, inside of the United Methodist Church, 100 North Broad Street, Fairborn, Ohio, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park.
