Earl R. Foor

FOOR, Earl R., age 78, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008. He was born January 16, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio. Earl retired from General Motors, was a member of Kettering First Church of God, enjoyed all sports, and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Foor; three daughters, Connie (Dennis) Schaedler, Melanie (Dan) Salyers, and Barbara (Scott) Kaminsky; one son, Robert (Niki) Foor; 5 grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Bethany, Katie, and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gaylord and Helen (Brown) Foor; one brother, Norman Foor. Visitation will be held Monday, February 25, 2008 from 5-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.). Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Kettering First Church of God (1450 E. Dorothy Lane) with Pastor Tom Pelt officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made in Earl's memory to the charity of the donor's choice.
