Earl "Gene" Long

Earl E. "Gene" Long, age 77 of Dayton, passed away November 24, 2012. He was born July 9, 1935 in Greenfield, Ohio to the late Everett and Margaret Long. In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by his brother, William Long.
Gene is survived by his wife of 58 years, Myra Long; children: Mike Long, Anita Long, Deborah Long, Tina Long and Missy Long; 18 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and one on the way.
Gene retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served more than 20 years for his country.
Contributions may be made in Gene's memory to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Kidney Foundation.
