Earl E. Johnson

JOHNSON, Earl E. "Big Daddy Earl" age 76. Born November 19, 1931, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Heartland of Centerville. Originally from Postage Lakes, Ohio and a Dayton resident since 1961, he was a 1949 graduate of Coventry High School in Akron and attended both University of Akron and University of Miami, Florida. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in Communication Recon as a Non Morse Interceptor, while stationed in Germany. Earl retired in 1989 from DESC in Kettering after 31 years of service. He was preceded in death by his former wife Juanita J. Johnson, mother Zella Johnson, sister Maxine Seamans and his brother Robert Johnson. Earl is survived by his daughter Marla Riggle, her husband Mark, grandson Stephen, stepson Barry Weaver, his wife Kathy and their children Nicole, Kerry and Cory. He is also survived by his nieces Vicki (Denny) Swift, Linda (Chuck) Cotter and Judy Mest who will always have loving memories of their "Uncle Crudley".
