Age 80, passed away November 11, 2014; on Veterans Day.
He was born February 19, 1934 in Dunleary, KY to late, Isaac and Pricey Sloan. He is preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Christine Sloan and brothers, Alvis "Red" Sloan and Burton Sloan.
He is survived by sister, Patty Sue (Robert) Wyatt; children, Sandra (Tim) Richmond, Sharon Sloan, David Sloan, and Steven Sloan; grandchildren, David Sloan Jr, Miranda Dubis, Christine Sloan, Nicholas Richmond, and Brenna Knott; great-grandchildren, Olivia Rickett and Nathan Sloan.
Earl proudly served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956.
The family would like to thank the caregivers and The Dayton V.A. Hospice Center. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
