Earl B. "Tex" Bilbrey, age 72 of Dayton, passed away August 26, 2011. He was born February 16, 1939 in Monterey, TN to the late Winford and Vela Bilbrey.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce Bilbrey; son, Lonnie Bilbrey; 4 grandchildren: Sara, Christopher, Kelsey and Kristen; 2 great grandchildren: Hayden Eric and Emma Dawn; sister, Stella (Ralph) Wakefield; 2 nieces; 1 nephew; and many dear friends.
Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:30 – 1:30. Burial will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery at 3:00 pm, with military honors performed by the United States Army.
