E. Melinda Garman

E. Melinda Garman, age 73 of Dayton, passed away June 28, 2019. She was born April 30, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Mary Teague; and brother, Barry Teague.
Melinda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Mike Garman; children: Missy (Eric) Knight, Mark (Carrie) Garman and Marty Garman; 7 grandchildren: Allyson Fourman (Damon), Ethan Knight, Jackson Garman, William Garman, Lewis Garman, Bennett Garman and Anna Garman; great-grandson, August Fourman; many other relatives and friends.
Melinda enjoyed volunteering her time at Christian Life Center. She owned and operated Seams to Me Sewing and Alterations as a Tailor for more than 30 years. Melinda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held from 12-1 pm on Monday, July 8, 2019 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Contributions may be made in Melinda's memory to The Hospice of Dayton.
