Dwight D. Thatcher, III "Skip", 62, of Fairborn, passed away September 3, 2018.
He was born March 17, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to Dwight D. Thatcher, Jr and Delores (Baker) Thatcher. He was a 1975 graduate of Kettering Fairmont East High School. Skip owned and operated a car repair shop for many years. He was an avid racing fan and attended several "Spring Nationals" with friends.
Skip was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Thatcher, and sister, Stephanie Potter.
He is survived by his father, Dwight D. Thatcher, Jr. and wife, Janet Thatcher; two sisters, Pam Bruns, Lisa Thatcher; 3 nieces; 1 nephew; 1 great-niece; and 3 great-nephews.
The family would like to thank the Aides at Centerville Health and Rehab for their extra special care for Skip.
