Dustin Scott Hite, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2025, the age of 37. Born on July 23, 1987, in Dayton, Ohio, Dustin's life was a testament to love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to those he cherished.
Raised in Miamisburg, Dustin graduated from Miamisburg High School, Class of 2006, where he was known for his goofy personality and his hard-working spirit. As an employee at Cleveland Cliffs, he was dedicated in his career, always striving to provide for his family, which remained his proudest accomplishment.
Dustin was not only a devoted worker but also a loving husband to his wife, Samantha, and a caring father to his five children: Carter, Delaynie, Avanlea, Jude, and Jayden. He took immense joy in spending time with his family, ensuring that laughter filled their home. His talents extended beyond his responsibilities; he enjoyed playing the drums, skateboarding, and woodworking. His love for comedy shows provided endless moments of entertainment, and he had a particular fondness for admiring and discussing cars.
He is survived by his father, Raymond Newton, and stepmother, Annetta Newton; his mother, Michelle Rishforth, and stepfather, Jim Rishforth; his siblings, Kelli, Derrick, Elizabeth, and Shyan; brother-in-law, Nathan (Jeana) Sheets; as well as his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Barry and Shirley Sheets. Additionally, he leaves behind countless friends who were touched by his loving spirit and vibrant personality. Dustin is preceded in death by his cousin, Corey Smith.
Dustin will always be remembered for his outspoken nature and his goofy sense of humor, which never failed to bring smiles to everyone around him. His presence will be deeply missed, especially by those fortunate enough to call him family. The bonds of love he created will remain unbroken, carrying his spirit forward in the hearts of all who knew him. Dustin's life may have been cut too short, but the joy he brought to others will live on forever, cherished by all who loved him.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
