Drucilla K. "Katie" Dossett, age 69 of Fairborn, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 6, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to James and Drucilla (Smith) Campbell. Katie married Clarence Dossett on May 15, 1970 in Fairborn, OH.
Katie began her career as a beautician and later worked as a realtor for Century 21. She enjoyed genealogy, making quilts, canning, gardening, and working in the yard. Katie never met a stranger, had a great sense of humor, loved the Gaither's and enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She enjoyed her time with her husband Clarence, the love of her life, and all her furry friends. Katie loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Katie is survived by her husband of 49 years Clarence; a brother, James "Jim" Campbell; a sister, Sarah A. (Shanti) Shah; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Maurice Campbell.
A Graveside Service will be held on May 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Road, Fairborn, OH.
