Drema Plumlee

Our most kind and gracious Heavenly Father honored his promise and escorted His dedicated servant, Drema Yvonne Plumlee, age 61, to paradise on October 26, 2007. She is reunited in heaven with her mother, Mildred Chapman Hall, her father, Frank Blevins, her brother, Elmer (Spanky) Lowery, her nephew, Keith Jackson and her brother-in-law, Jeff Turvene.

Drema is loved and missed by her soul-mate and husband of 27 years, Harold Plumlee, her daughter, Patricia (Chris) Osborn, her son, Anthony (Heather) Byrd, her sisters, Vera Wilz, Sandra Lowery, and Leola Turvene, her nephews, Chucky, Sean, Ben, and Matthew, her grandchildren, Jeremy, Rebecca, Jessica, Tyler, Ryan, Nathan, and Emily, as well as her great grandchild and grand nieces and nephews.

Drema attended the Kettering Assembly of God Church. Throughout her life, as well as during her illness, she steadfastly looked to God for strength and her faith was unwavering. She was called by God to be an anchor in times of trouble and strife, a source of hope and love when the world offered little and the glue that held the family together. She has fought the good fight, she has finished the course and she has entered her reward in heaven. We honor her memory by striving to live the example she set by doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God. A memorial service to honor Drema's life will be held at Kettering Assembly of God, 2250 East Stroop Road on Sunday, November 4, 2007. The family will receive friends starting at 1:30 PM with the memorial service beginning at 2:30 PM. Arrangements in care of Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel.
