Dr. Paul C. Unverferth Sr., of Waynesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.
Paul was a graduate of the University of Dayton and University of St. Louis Dental School. He practiced dentistry in Dayton for many years. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the Ohio Army National Guard. He was kind and loved by many. Paul will be missed by all, especially Buddy and Jack.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Urban & Anna Unverferth; brothers, Robert, John and William Unverferth. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Liz Unverferth; children, Henry (Trina) Unverferth, Augustus Unverferth, Paul (Ann) Unverferth Jr., Matthew Unverferth, Peter Unverferth and Ann (Bob) Kniess; 8 grandchildren; great-grandson; and loving niece, Tess Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Augustine Catholic Church (5715 Lytle Rd, Waynesville, OH 45068). Burial will take place on Sunday at 2pm at Derifield Cemetery in Clifford, KY.
