Doyle K. Burnett

BURNETT, Doyle K., age 94, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 15, 2007. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Don and Lyle Burnett. Doyle is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mildred G.; sons, Richard D. and Robert D.; sisters, Betty Boggs and Joan Burnett; grandsons, Tim and Nick, as well as several nieces and nephews. Doyle was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Army with the 127th Antiaircraft Gun Bn. Battery A in Europe. He retired after 35+ years at Behms Glass. Doyle was also a member of the Otterbein Church for over 50 years. He loved to play golf, travel, and dine out. Doyle was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be sadly missed by his family. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, August 20, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until the time of service. Pastor Roger Godsey-Bell officiating. Interment at Twin Valley Cemetery, Gratis, OH. Arrangements by Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory.
