Dovie Neitman

NEITMAN, Dovie Marie (Abston), age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Hospice of Dayton. Dovie was born in Tennessee on June 22, 1927. Dovie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mollie Abston; in-laws, Cliff and Ethel Neitman, and eight siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Henry "Hank" Neitman; son, Paul; daughter, Linda; grandchildren, Donna, Gina, Danielle, Crystal, Nikki and Matt; three great-grandchildren; and special friends David, Margaret, Jed and Gail. Dovie retired from Fox Cleaners in Kettering after 23 years of service. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church in Beavercreek for 25 years. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 17 at 10:00 am at Mt. Zion Church, 428 Shepherd Rd, Xenia, OH 45385 with Pastor Dennis Peterson and Pastor Larry Stroble officiating. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM on Friday, April 16 at the church. Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of Dayton staff. If desired, donations may also be made to Hospice of Dayton or Dayton Chapter of the ALS Foundation. Dovie was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and friend. Her love will live on in our hearts forever.
