Douglas Spencer, age 75 of Richmond, IN passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at AMG Specialty Hospital, Muncie. He was born March 16, 1943 at home in Pomeroyton, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Martha (Centers) Spencer.
In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by a sister, Opal Powers.
Douglas is survived by his siblings, Randall Spencer, Robert Spencer, Rick Freeman, Rena Spencer, Jessie Thompson and Sherry Maiden as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Doug enjoyed travelling, spending time with family, visiting the ocean and long drives. He adored the company of his sisters and would do anything for them. He will always be remembered as a kind and loving brother.
Family will receive guests from 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral; Home, Kettering. Funeral services will begin 11:30 am Friday, March 22, 2019 also at the funeral home. Procession to Woodside Cemetery Middletown for burial will conclude services for Doug. Memorial contributions may be made to Truth Tabernacle at 6879 Hamilton Middletown Rd, Middletown, OH 45044.
