Douglas Slye

Douglas E. Slye passed away suddenly on Friday September 16, 2011. He was 55 years old. He was born on June 16, 1956 to the late Lewis and Elsa Slye. He is leaving behind his wife, Nora Slye, brother, Bradford Slye, daughters, Cagney and Melissa, sons, Marshal and Clint, and several stepchildren, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was very involved with the group, "Friends of Bill W."

A celebration of life will take place on Wednesday September 21, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Linden Avenue Baptist Church, 101 Linden Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Douglas' memory to Melissa Fugate at Resident Home Association, Hemphill Road House (2632 Hemphill Rd, Kettering, OH, 45440). Douglas will be missed by his family and his Bill W. friends.
