Douglas Ray Edwards

EDWARDS, Douglas R. "Mackie", age 61, of Ward, CO., formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008. He was born September 5, 1946 to Tom and Velma Edwards. He is survived by sisters Linda Sharon White (Earl) of TN., Mae Loraine Lewis (Bill), Shirley Ann Brigner (Roger) of Dayton; brother Tom L. Edwards, Jr. "Sonny (Lucy) of KY.; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Recognition to Boulder Community Hosp., Hospice Care of Boulder, and Hospice of Dayton for their excellent care. Special thanks to his friends of CO. Bob Kendall, Carolyn Peet, Cheryl Warner, and Peggy Mills for their support and care during his illness, and to Bob Cahill, a long time friend of Dayton. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 28 at 10:00am at Hospice of Dayton. The family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave Dayton, OH 45420 or Hospice Care of Boulder CO., 2594 Trailridge Drive Lafayette, CO. 80026. Burial will be at Medway Cemetery at a later date. Doug was loved and will be missed by all.
