Douglas Rahn

RAHN, Douglas K., age 53, of Hermosa Beach, CA and formerly of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Sun., Oct. 23, 2005 at his home in CA. He was preceded in death by his mother Emily Rahn and his brother Bruce died Tues., Nov. 1, 2005. Doug is survived by his father John E. Rahn & his wife Rose of Washington Twp.; sister-in-law Jane Rahn of Vandalia; nephew Nelson Rahn; aunt Jean Fridley; cousins Ron and Karen Fridley and beloved dogs Elka and Romy. He was a 1970 graduate of Fairmont H.S., a 1975 graduate of the Univ. of Cincinnati, had moved to Hermosa Beach in 1978, was the owner/operator of Directors Versified Services and an active sportsman who enjoyed golf, running and working out. Memorial services 2:30 P.M., Wed., Nov. 9, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Clyde Waites officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday from 1 - 2:30 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Private inurnment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
