Douglas R. Limes

Douglas R. Limes, age 81 of Centerville (formerly of Xenia) passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Legacy of Centerville. He was born on March 7, 1942 in Xenia, Ohio to the late Russell and Marjorie M. Limes. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Carole Yano.



Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Helen (King) Limes whom he married on July 5, 1975; sister, Bonnie (John) Pfeiffenberger of Centerville; and brother, Edward Limes of Arizona. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many close friends.



Doug was a 1960 graduate of Xenia High School, veteran of the Army National Guard, and retired from General Motors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady Of Good Counsel Church in Doug's memory.



Requiem Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Our Lady Of Good Counsel Church (8616 North Dixie Dr, Dayton, OH 45414). Family will briefly receive guests before the service. Doug will be laid to rest at St. Brigid Cemetery (West 2nd St, Xenia, OH 45385) following services.
