Douglas A. Hoyer, age 54 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 16, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Walter and Marjorie Hoyer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Marlene Kay Hundley and brother-in-law Michael Hundley.
Douglas was very active with Montgomery County DDS Recreation and his work at Monco Industries and Liberty Center. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed Elvis Presley. He was actively involved with the Special Olympics.
Douglas is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Smith, Patricia A. Sark, Karen L. (Daniel) Baty and brother, Gerald E. (Erin) Hoyer. He is also survived by numerous other family and friends. Special Thank you to Kiera and Lisa at Stillwater Center for being his special friends and care givers.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 10 am at St. Helen's Catholic Church 605 Granville Place Dayton, OH. Family will receive friends Friday, December 28, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
