Douglas K. Hough "Doug", age 59 of Piqua, passed away April 21, 2018 at his home. He was born April 27, 1958 in Beavercreek, OH to the late Thomas and Arline (Thompson) Hough. In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death his nieces, Faye Gabbard and Angela Pack.
He is survived by his 2 children, Heather (Rhea) Hough and Ben (Rebecca) Hough; grandchildren, Kyle, Mya, Silas and Gia; siblings, Barbara Avery, Jackie (Mike) Mathes and Chuck (Cheryl) Hough; former wife and dear friend, Ruth Miller; good friends, Ms. Joan, Dennis Tangeman, Dave Kibler and numerous extended family and friends.
Doug loved playing guitar and listening to music. He was an avid outdoorsman with some of his favorite hobbies being fishing and camping. Doug was extremely proud of his Scottish heritage. He taught himself to do leatherwork, crafting, building and tinkering with anything that needed a good fix. Doug was all about having fun and maintained a smile no matter what he was doing. He had a positive outlook on life and everyone he met.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 N. Dixie Dr., Dayton, OH 45414.
