Douglas E. "Doug" Farrier, age 61 of Kettering, OH passed away peacefully while watching NASCAR on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born February 22, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to Eugene and Nora (Tomilson) Farrier. Doug married Belinda Cook on July 28, 1979 in Kettering, OH and they just celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.
Doug dedicated his life to his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandpa and brother. He was a hard worker with a passion for muscle cars, loud rock and roll, and power tools. Doug loved to "TURN IT UP AND GO FAST"! Doug spent his career as a Commercial HVAC Journeyman at Superior Mechanical Services and the family would like to thank them for their continued love and support. He was a great man who never put himself first and would do anything for family and friends. Doug loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all but not forgotten.
Doug is survived by his wife Belinda; his two daughters, Loni Farrier and Julie Farrier; three grandchildren, Dylan, Austin and Noah Sipe; a brother, Tim Farrier; and other numerous family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial of Doug's cremated remains will be at a later date at the convenience of the family.
