Douglas E. Garybush, age 59, of Kettering went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. Born on June 9, 1956 to Louis & Phyllis Garybush.
Doug was a member of Central Christian Church of Kettering. He served in the U.S. Army. Doug retired from the V.A. Hospital. He loved everyone and his heart had exponentially more give than take. He was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Brenda S. Garybush.
Doug is survived by his siblings, Philip (Betty) Garybush, Brenda Garybush, Connie Doss and Lisa (David) French. He always said his nieces and nephews were the children he and his wife never had. Nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Hughes, Adrian Noah Hughes, James and Justin Doss, Devin Garybush, Alexis Garybush, Johnathan Garybush, David French Jr., Taylor French, Amanda (Donovan) Youngs, Damian (Carissa) Stringfield, Rylee Stringfield, Brandon and Brad Morgan, Trey Link, Karlynn (Ron) Herrando, Amanda (Jay) Sharritt, and Melinda (Adam) Arrnett.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 7pm, with Rev. Dixie French officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doug's memory to the American Diabetes Association.
