Douglas E."Dougie" Dunkle, Jr.
Age 23, of Trotwood, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 17, 2007.
Dougie is preceded in death by his uncles, Robin Wooliver & Dennie Cox; and by one aunt, Wanda Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Dunkle and their son, Kam'ron; his parents, Barbara & Doug Dunkle; grandparents, Carl Dunkle, Margaret Hix & Ruby Rolen; two sisters, Ashley Dunkle and Brittany Dunkle; and by numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
Dougie will be remembered as a devoted father, husband and friend. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, with Pastor Dan Ellis and Minister Carl Dunkle, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Dougie to a college fund established for his 2 ½ year old son, Kam'ron. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
