Douglas John Cairl

Douglas John Cairl, age 47 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. He was born in Dayton to proud parents, Garnet and Vickie Cairl on June 25, 1971. DJ graduated from Wayne High School in 1989. He went on to study at RHEMA Bible Training College. After completing his education, DJ went on to work for CSX Railroad as a railroad engineer.

Douglas was a passionate Bengals fan. He was a skilled bass player and enjoyed playing and listening to music in his free time. DJ took great pride and joy in his children. He was a kind, caring, and devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

Douglas was preceded in death by his brother, John Cairl.

DJ leaves to cherish his memory, loving children, Brandon Cairl and Samantha Cairl, parents, Garnet and Vickie Cairl; brother, Shaun Cairl; mother of his children, Sarah Storage; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7pm at Newcomer - North Chapel. Family will greet friends and loved ones for two hours prior (5pm-7pm).
