Doug Perry

Douglas Perry, age 92, of Beavercreek. The Lord reunited Doug with his loving wife, Dorena, of 59 years, on Friday, September 22, 2023. Doug was born in Auxier, Kentucky on February 14, 1931 to the late Jeff and Martha Perry.
Doug is preceded in death by his wife, Dorena; his parents; sisters, Lorraine Conley, Jessie Pack, Darlene McKenzie and Bonnie Jurich; brothers, Buddy and Frank Perry; and son-in-law, Kim Allen Francis.

He is survived by sister, Dimple Watkins; daughters, Diana Francis and Debbie Jones; granddaughter, Erica "the baby" Jones; treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends and his beloved dog, Brutus.

Doug graduated Meade Memorial High School in Williamsport, Kentucky in 1949. He played basketball all four years and his team went to the state finals in 1949.

Doug retired from LKQ. He loved boating, golfing, playing pool with his buddies, woodworking, home projects, cars and taking care of his yard and family. He could fix anything! Always had answers to our problems. Doug was simply amazing. His guidance and influence will be missed. He was the consummate patriot, family man, provider, dad and grandpa.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-8:00pm on September 28, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek) with funeral services beginning at 4:00pm.
