Doug Blackburn

Doug Blackburn, age 63, of Dayton passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. 

Doug was born in Dayton on December 4, 1960. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, David Blackburn; sister, Darlene Landers; and father, Roy Blackburn. 

Doug is survived by his wife of 42 years, Barbara Blackburn; daughter, Ashley Blackburn; grandchildren, Alyssa (Jimmy Kuntz) Blackburn and Brooklynn Brewer; mother, Mary Klemm; sisters, Deborah (Bill) Wasner and Diane Blackburn; brother, Dennis Blackburn; best friends, Mark (Carol) Wright, Dave (Lynn) Knox, and Joey Knox; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. 

Doug was the hardest working, selfless, straightforward, humble man you ever knew. He would show up when anyone was in need-no questions asked. Doug will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 4-6pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
